It was built at the beginning of the 20th century, in 1902, with the name of the Athenaeum. In the Municipal House of Culture is today the Minerva Art Gallery, with 296 exhibits made by linen and sculpture, with watercolor or ceramics. The construction of the current Dorohoi Municipal House of Culture on George Enescu Street was completed in 1926 and functioned first as the Mixed Primary School no. 3 I.C. Bratianu.
