Built between 1923 - 1926 by the great composer and called Luminis and was regarded by the great violinist most appropriate place to carry out the his compositions. In 1927, Yehudi Menuhin improve their talent alongside his master violinist. In 1947, at Paris, he donated the castle to the Romanian state, to be used as a place of rest and creative artists. Since 1995, becomes the Memorial House George Enescu, is administered by European Cultural Centre in Sinaia.
